Does anyone know where I can find the conversion of the Information Overload
CP book? I followed the link from the review on Gurth's site but apparantly
it doesn't exist anymore. Are there any mirror sites about or is it gone
for good?

I've been to lazy to check, but there is a chance that there's a " " (space)
in the URL of the link you followed. Gurth insists on using them :) and some
browsers don't handle them well. Try converting all spaces to "%20" and
check again.

Did you try mailing BulletShower using the address on that same page? I
suspect that this is one of those cases where someone graduated from
university and so the site disappeared along with them, but you never
know.

This is precisely why we need to get that net.book archive on
dumpshock.com set up, BTW...

Not yet, I was hoping someone could point me to somewhere where I could
download it. You remember all the trouble I had downloading Paranoid
Animals? *grin*

It is the way its looking, I followed <mumble>'s suggestion and tried again
with an equal lack of joy.

I did a quick search for "cyberpunk information overload" and found it in
the top five returns.

Information Overload 1 can be found at:
http://www.avana.net/~cksmith/cp/io.htm
Information Overload 2 can be found at
http://www.avana.net/~cksmith/cp/io2.htm

Thanks but I already have these original CP versions sitting on my hard
disk; I'm after the Shadowrun conversion.

The ShadowFAQ net.books page (http://shadowfaq.dumpshock.com/Netbook.html)
has the correct link, which is
http://www.landshut.org/bnla01/members/BulletShower/cpboox.htm

That download does not work. Neither does the supposed archive of it at
http://www.wsu.edu:8080/~dpeters/netbook.htm

Seeing as how there are so many problems getting hold of this file, I've
put it up for download myself. Point a browser at
http://plastic.dumpshock.com/shadowrun/io.zip to download the zipped Word
document; there's no link to it from any page, though, so you have to use
the direct URL.

Unless I'm mistaking Phil's question, this wasn't a link to another part
of my site, but a link to an external site that held the net.book. The
best I can have done wrong here would be a typo, but I don't think so.

Thanks, as per usual, Netscape Navigator hates me so I'm going to try to
download it on Interned Explorer in a while.
