They don't have bonuses as normal shamans, all the insect
totems
grant is
spellcasting ability and the capacity to conjure insect spirits.
Not a
house rule
this time, it's in Bug City... :)
So I'm stuck with either mundanes, flesh- and true-forms, or full-blown
spell-slingers? <Growl of frustration.> Since the team has only an NPC
Sorcery Adept (albeit initiated) to throw spells at the bad guys, I was
hoping I could make up some bug-boys with slightly more limited magical
vocabularies - something the PCs could 'blind-side'.
<Thought strikes.> Another question: do those bonded with an Insect
Spirit retain any magical ability they may have had before the joining,
or is that destroyed by the bonding process?
