dfference is, these days the whites [one the whole] don't seem themselves
as distinct racial groups as they once did. so you're not going to be
oppressed under the white partiarchy if you are white and male.

however, it is quite common for 'white' families to hold preconceived ideas
about the scottish, irish, english and french too. the racism is on such a
fundamental level it is hard to decondition it from oneself. i still make
comments about the whining poms more than i do about the drunken irish (i
may be english, irish, french, scottish and gypsy - but the english part is
miniscule). its part of my families culture, because i am mostly irish.

out of curosity, to your 'subscribe' to formal or substantial equality?

the Australian Broadcasting Corporation makes no money and is *does*
disseminate information. yes, it is a government owned service, but it is
an example of how the media can be constructed. it doesn't have to be there
to make money.

my webpage is part of the media, it ain't there to make money. nor is the
shadowrun archive. they disseminate information about a particular thing,
yes...

to suggest that the media per se is there to make money is flawed -
etymologically and logically speaking.

>7.) Both sides of this argument are never going to get anywhere, because they

>non-white people dislike it when the white's opress them.

that's seriously a bad attitude to have. i could deconstruct your sentence
with e-prime and make myself a lot happier, but i shan't bother.

>8.) Language. The official language of the United States is English. That

>someone who speaks only Spanish?

but in 2005 or something (can't remember the exact date) the Hispanic
Culture(s) are going to be the dominant one(s) in the USA. so *you* better
start to learn spanish properly, kid.

english is a terribly inefficient language for business. good riddance to it!
