In vietnam the american army started using shotgun ammo that consisted of a
few large shots connected together with small wires.
What would happen if those wire were monofiliment.

It would be something like a monofiliment net hitting you, people paste?

What do you think

They might not survive the velocity that the shotguns fire them at. If it
works, the person already has to worry about a shotgun round hitting
them, and the only thing that could really worry them even more is if you
missed a vital spot a they bled to death(ouch).

Something like that, but it isn't very practical.

I think it would spread evenly... More of a Melba toast thing than a Saltine.

How about this? Take a net gun from SSC and use a monofilamint net. Use
damage of, oh, 6S, along with the standard net gun rules. And if you try to
break free you take another 6S attack.

It's called "Strung Buck" by at least one manufacturer. The velocity is alot
lower, due to the close spin of the two slugs (basically) being tied together,
but the tissue damage is god-awful nasty.

I'd say... oh, give it a 10D damage or so. Double hard armor and halve soft.
This is just off the top o' the noggin.

I personally would use the same stuff used in the monofiliment whip.
Has the nessacery strength already, and is a 10S. Much nastier...

Ask J.D. for the FAQ, it's explained there.
