Here's a thought: The Net is currently a network of networks. Which means
that there won't be "Internet, Inc", but thjings will evolve to where you
pay local network X for gateway priviliges. Like it is now with Aol and
Compuserve. Of course, Unis and such will be free or subsidized. Maybe
things won't be so different after all. . .we'll just have everyone else,
even the local pub, wired in, for communications and DMX.
