It's an area in the rules that's not black and white. There're no page
references that'll give you clear cut answers to your questions. You'll
just have to read the spell descriptions and the sorcery chapter and make
up your own mind.
For me: since Invisibility affects the mind and the paragraph under the
Indirect Illusion Spells heading on page 195 states that Indirect Illusion
Spells (such as Invisibility) only apply to either a person or an area
equal to the caster's MR in meters, and from the Invisibility spell
description, I'd say it covers one person and whatever he is carrying/
wearing. No more.
For low light: it's clear from the Illusion spells description on page 195
that you either see the person that you don't. It's all in the mind.
Lowlight vision has no affect on this.
For thermo: it's whether you consider thermo *normal* vision (it is for a
troll). If thermo is normal vision, then it is no defence against
Invisibility. If it isn't, then it's a full defense versus Invisibility.
