It's bound to happen sooner or later. You can only be topical for so
long before the well runs dry. :)

Well, lessee here:

It's Monday ('nuff said:)
It's the middle of the day (around here, anyway), so chances are lots of
people are at work...
And Bull's been rather quiet of late, anyway...
I suppose the list is running about where it normally does under such
circumstances:)
Heh... maybe we should start something dealing with w********s or
g******g :):)
Or we could all send pings:) or start talking about how quiet the list
is...
Uh... I better shut up before I get unsubscribed:)

Fear not dear Dvixen. The list will be EXCEEEDINGLY quiet from friday, for
that is the day I'll be setting nomail myself.

Don't miss me too much, I'll only be gone for 2 weeks.

I doubt that...

Besides. OT can work both ways.
On topic threads continually turn off, and sometimes, you can start a really
active On topic thread after it drifts FROM OT...

Wouldn't a better punishment be to inform Listserv that 10 or 20 separate

Nope it ain't just you Spike ... It has been slow ... very SLOOOOOW

what I would concider as "normal" ... Could it be that we are all

didn't I post anything fun then ? well I just couldn't think of
anything funny to say at the present so ... I suffer in silence
waiting for someone to say something fun to get the messages rollin'

I keep tellin ya, it's the US holiday. Lotsa people take off and go
out of town to spend time with something or another called
"relatives" <shrug> ;)

Come Monday there'll be a ton of messages as people recover from
addiction.

This happens every year around this time. During the week of
Christmas this list slows to a dead crawl. Then in January there'll
be a serious flame war about one of the dreaded subjects. Last year
it was on FAB. The year before it was on Grounding. Have patience
and you'll have more email than you can shake a pointer at :)
