The main character in Tomb Raider I & II, the computer games.

My main complaint about Cyberspace is how things aren't unique
enough; for example they give genric vehicles followed by one or
two specific models that have nearly the same stats as the
generic ones. Nothing that really sets them apart from the others
in their class.

I think this is a bit like asking what music will sound like in the
2050s... First of all it's hard to describe only in words, and
furthermore fashion is subject to so many changes anyway that
anything that's said will probably be invalid (or at least partly so)
a few years later. There's about 10 years between the start of SR
and the current moment in the timeline; compare the fashion of
1988 with that of 1998...

I only bought the main rules, mainly to see what that system is
like; I've never really had the opportunity to take a look in the
sourcebooks, so I can't say whether they're any good. To me
Cyberspace feels like an attempt to add a setting to Rolemaster,
but RM's system is pretty hard to learn IMHO so I've never
actually played it (I GMed MERP once and gave up in frustration
after a few hours).

But they all appear to be variations on one basic model, instead
of giving some _real_ differences between vehicles. This is true
for the weapons as well, and to a larger degree even.

No idea, I can only blame it on bugs in the new version of
Pegasus I'm using... I hope they fix it soon...
