Anyone know where I can get a complete (hopefully up to the new SR3) Table
of items from all the books? I'm severely depressed that they didn't put one
in SR3. :(

Well, not that it is exactly legal or anything but I happen to have a
complete equipment list that I've nailed together. It's over 130 pages
long (M$ Word 7.0 format) and includes all the statistics, rules and
associated tidbits for all published equipment, skills, spells, physical
adept abiltiies, contacts, yadda yadda yadda. Though it's not up to date
with SR3 yet it will be soon.

Um, Bob... I wouldn't go around advertising that you have one. FASA cracked
down on an equipment list that was distributed a few years ago, because it
discouraged people from buying sourcebooks.

Should you distribute such a list, you're leaving yourself open for legal
liability. Having such a list for your private use is okay, but passing it
around would be a big no-no. Advertising that you're doing it, on a list
with several FASA writers on it, would be very dumb.

If you want to distribute it, get permission from FASA. Mind you, they'll
say no.

Mike talked about this at Gencon, and basically, if they publish such a
list, that's 20 pages gone from that product. OUCH. Since they are trying to
REDUCE pagecounts (by more selective editing), they will never publish such a
list. :(
Now the good news; since they will never publish such a list, it is
something they would like to put up on their website. Eventually. [Maybe
after MaM and/or CC comes out, with revised and new gear?]

We put together an updated table as we did SR3. Because of the fact that
it's so huge, it likely won't appear in any upcoming books. Considering
that, Mike said he would like to put it up on the FASA website. Maybe in
a few months?

Hey Rob! Nice to hear from ya again. You were -SO- quiet at the convention,
I kept asking myself ... "where did he get that color???" Coolsville on the
information for the upcoming stuff to the website. I sure feel sorry for
whomever is doing FASA's websites... ;p
