Well I've got questions again. At least two...

First: Is there an errata for Awakenings available, and where can I find
it? If nothing else, are actual stats available for a centering focus?
Awakenings provides a description, but only a partial set of rules for
it.

Second: Has anyone else noticed that the Burned Out mage achetype seems
to have too many force points (55, I checked)? Is there something I've
overlooked here? Is this really the error it appears to be? Is it all
just a plot by the TMIEC (Techno-Magical Immortal Elf Cabal)?

Happy New Year's everyone! May the new year be better than the old.

I posted these questions to the list once, but never got an answer, so,
in hopes that one of you have the answers I seek, I am reposting the

I think a lot of the archetypes taken from the first edition books don't add
up correctly.....

The combat mage is from Sprawl Sites, the Burnt out mage from the Main
rulebook....

If you want to find some real bad adding up, look at the 1st Ed street Sam
Catalogue... (I don't know if it was fixed in 2nd Ed....)

Ehhhhh? Technomegical Immortal Cabal????
Is the burnt out mage an Elf? I thought he was human....

Anyway, the fact that he IS burnt out suggests he actually has some history,
so maybe it adds up to Karma spent on spells?

Your mailer acts a bit weird when it quotes stuff... when I read posts of
you that have quoted text in them, about 6 characters at least fall over
the right-hand edge of each quoted line, but not of the other lines.
Could you lower the line width a bit?

It's not even mentioned in the foci table in the back of the book.
(Interesting thing I just noticed when comparing Awakenings to a certain
file-I-don't-have when trying to find full rules for this focus: the "see
me not" explanation of spell locks is gone.)

Maybe Steve Kenson has an answer...?

I don't have the GM screen (made my own from a piece of red cardboard and
printed-out tables, so it has all the stuff _I_ want on it) so I can't say
anything about this one.

That'd be nice for a change, yes...

I would if I knew how...the Juno mailer isn't exactly chock full of
features...
so, I don't know how to set line width, except to carefully count and/or
manually re-edit message <sigh>

The Centering Focus is described on page 103 of Awakenings, just before
it explains Focus Addiction (which is a rather nasty thing, I think)

I can only hope.

Actually, it made it's way into one of the PW books...which is where I
first noticed the problem...

I thought so...
