>>Yeah, what's your point?
Blunt, and to be frank, kinda a rude response to a question.
Alright, first I asked about the Attack program being purely hacking,
since the Force is the decker's Computer skill. Then, in your response,
I got the impression that it's still a program, meaning it will have a
rating of its own. So when I attack, do I use the Computer skill or the
rating of the program? If the former, why buy a program?

Geez, ask a question. . .

All of the above. Attack with (Rating) dice (+ MCombat Pool dice up to
additional (Rating) dice). The ice resists against a TN of Computer
skill. (Exactly to opposite of normal combat where you attack with
skill dice and the equipment you use determines the resistance target,
I just noticed... Maybe you should attack with Computer skill at a
power level of Program Rating instead, for the sake of consistency, if
nothing else...)

First of all I wasn't being rude. Your statement was not very clear and made
me say, yeah, so what.

Now to answer your question fully, yes, Attack is still a program. The dice
you roll are equal to Computer Skill + Program Rating + Matrix Combat Pool.
The Power (Force) of the attack is the decker's Computer Skill. The damage
level is depended upon the level of the program.

I'm damn sure this was rather clear in the write up.
