I was talking to a few friends, and hit on an interesting idea.
A swarm of drones, like a flieing/undersea mine field, that could be
moved. After all, one gallon of gasoline is a stick of dynamite,
almost identical explosion. It was made that way. Drrakn hit upon the
idea of using a brick of plastic explosives, made to detonate on
impact. This could be used for all sorts of things. Blowing holes in
the hulls of ships, blowing up dragons/presidents of the UCAS, taking
out docks, fly them into the engines and rotors of aircraft. Any
opinions, suggestions, or such? It would have to be a very cheap
drone, and a very many ported remote deck , but thats ok, eh?

A rigger in my game stopped a shadowrun team that was attempting to board a
boat using a small rubber boat. He basically crashed his condor into them and
they sunk.

It was a wonderful roll, too bad his drone died.

On a similar vein my Rigger/Mage Lupus has used Kamikaze
drones a few times when a major cluster fuck has happened on
runs.

Basically take a Microskimmer drone, add about 1/2 kg of
C-12, and load the outside shell of the drone with contact
detenators. Program the drone to collide with anyone not
wearing (insert prefernce) armour
Hey Presto, your own small suicide squad.

Works well against massed enemies....

Lupus' usual tactic is to find out the armour type and color
worn by the bads guys and the let therones loose.

Another version is to program them to collide with any
person in the area, them let the drones in first. Give them
30 seconds or so to have fun. Then the rest of the team
heads in.

Not good for subtlety, but very effecient. If you have
enough money to burn...

BTW, Lupus uses a R10 Remote Deck, and generally 2 waves of
drones. As each drone is destroyed, he affiliates another
and sends it in.

As i said, not subtle, but fun to watch
