Ok, this sounds to me to be rather unbalancing, but I think I
also read it somewhere in one of the rulebooks, but I don't remember
which one. It boils down to donating Karma. Now I know anybody can give
karma to spirits for whatever the spirit wants to do with it. But can,
say a sam, give karma to aid in spell quickenings and such. What I
remember stated that he could as long as he was the willing target of the
spell. Help my faulty memory!

Thanks
Bill

As a 1stEd player/GM Karma can be donated for spell locks, quickenings,
other peoples successes and can even be used as bad Karma against another
person.
(The Guards gun jams. He spends the next round unjamming it with his
build/Repair skill and gets one success......
PLAYER: I'll buy that success. No he doesn't.(2 Karma))
I had a house rule that said the mage had to pay the quickening Karma but
that was just to keep it under control.
