A big mage will do it easily, unless your group is ultra-paranoid.
E.g.:
An Initiate with Centering Skill (say Level 6) (to reduce Drain TN);
Confusion spell (unless they all have Will 6) or Sleep.
Cast with Force 8, and all magic pool dice.
Maybe throw in a Force 15 spirit or elemental. (Increase Charisma +4,
take the risk of physical drain, Heal afterwards). Even a Hearth
Spirit (manifesting, so dual-natured) would be attacking with 15 dice,
doing 3M3 (SR I). Summon the thing in advance, natch.
Who knows? He may even need some mundane backup...
But give them warning - if they do come through it, they'll rave
about the excitement. If they don't, and you've been unfair, you
may lose a lot of players (not just characters).
Why do you want to kill them? Adjust the power of their opponents
up gradually, until you find the right threat level to keep everyone
tense.
