It's a good thing you talk about that, because, as I have been GM just for
a few runs, I still don't know if I should rather try to avoid my players'
characters to be killed, or to get them smashed at every run (thus allowing
them to try various types of characters, one by run (change is life
)), ok
you can breath now, I know my sentence is a little bit too long, and I'm
sorry about that, take the ponctuation marks, and put them every where you
want to in the above lines: . . . .
My feeling is that acting as an ennemy is not good, as players may think
they have to play against the GM, and will tend to contest everything, but
constant feeling of near death is a good stimulator and actually add spice
to the game. The problem is the proportioning. How do you all famous and
hardened GM deal with this?

P.S. Jason, Rat, Max and others: I'm so sorry I had to quote the three
preceding mails before mine, as a context, thus absurdly elongating my
respons (in fact, I'm not ) (-:
Well, provided one does not quote the whole past discussion, but only the
(or the two) last mail(s), it seems bearable (Dr Doom, you were not
supposed to say everybody I just quote the THREE last mails, they didn't
see it!).
