Ok so I'm re-arguing the same point but hopefully it will make more sense this
time.

While killing hands may have the ability to damage vehicles I seriously don't
think they could. First off, a phys ad can break through baseball bats etc
and dent metal, but for shredding metal you would need a sharp edge, though
you can dent it fine. In theory if you take the rules at face value a phys
ad could demolish a car simply by hitting it. But in reality all he has done
has punch a hole through the chassis. Now if he wanted to demolish it he
would have to punch lots and lots of holes in the chassis till it became
structurally unsound or go for a vital point such as the axle, which would
mean crawling under the car, pulling out vital wires (which anyone can do),
or punching a hole in the fuel tank, standing back then throw in a lit match.
But back to just how powerful your hands are, well do you think a phys ads
hands would be able to cut through an engine block just because he hit it
hard enough ?

Ok, the way I think killing hands work is similar to J Robersons view, with the
exception that while being able to aim vulnerable areas, killing hands also
instil a sort of magical whack. This can be likened to techniques used for
breaking bricks etc where the martial artist concentrates before making the
attack. The phys ad can do it naturally. Btw I think there is something in
the little novela in the beggining of S2 backing me up on the magical whack
point.

One last point, nothing to do with phys ads but in answer to the question
'never been attacked by a tree', well some of my players have, heh heh heh.
Several in fact, but that was a campaign where I converted some Cthulu stuff
to the world of shadow run, and bent the rules a bit in the process regarding
spirit inhabitation.

Well, I've just quickly read through, and cringed, my response looks very
much like a flame. It's not honest, just a badly worded discussion. But
thwapp me with a big golden carp if you want.
