Okay, I said in the Critter Powers as PhysAd abilities post that I'd post
my House rule for handling the above ... so here it is:

Buying Killing Hands for use with Distance Strike is purchased seperately
from buying Killing Hands normally but, your Distance Strike/Killing
Hands cannot be purchased at a higher level than your normal Killing
Hands.

(In the following, Killing Hands is abbreviated KH and Distance Strike is
abbreviated DS)
So, KH Light (.5) + DS (2) +DS/KH Light (.5) = 3 points instead of 3-4 (3
if DS was bought first, 4 if KH was bought first)
Also you could Have KH Serious (2) + DS (2) + DS/KH Moderate (1) for 5
points, which you couldn't do with the standard rules ...

I personally think this is a big improvement over Awakenings ...

Note: If you want to allow someone to develop Distance Strike/Killing
Hands at higher than their normal Killing Hands, I would reccommend
saying that it has to build up as it travels ... For every Meter or
fraction thereof it travels, the damage is staged up one level from their
normal Killing Hands level (none - Serious) upto their Distance
Strike/Killing Hands level (Light-Deadly) ...
