Yes, but not as a sports car. One of my players built a car like that for
his character, then discarded it because he decided it didn't fit the
character concept. I'm not even sure on what car he based it, but it had a
talking computer and the flashing red light at the front :)
Let's see, what would you need to create KITT, anyway? (Before they
added all the weird extending spoilers and all that crap.) A fast
sportscar, say a Westwind 2000, fitted with some turbochargers. Add very
high level autonav, sensors, and pilot. Also a bit of ECM (IIRC KITT could
jam stuff), drive-by-wire, some concealed armor, EnviroSeal, ejection
seats, and maybe some more. It should also have a learning pool, like a
robot.
How we'll get all of this into a sportscar, I'm not sure :)
