:>Modified Limit" for human strength. The "Attribute Maximum" is 9.
Since
:>the power point cost is based of whether the Improved Physical Attribute
:>power raises the attribute over the maximum, the Adept archetype's given
:>powers (and associated costs) are correct.
:
: Here is the problem. The errata says that one should change this
:wording from page 169:
:
: This power allows you to exceed your racial maximums (p. 245),
:but each level over the maximum costs double (1 point per level).
:
: to this wording:
:
: This power allows you to exceed your racial modified limit (p.
245),
:but each level over the maximum costs double (1 point per level).
That seems even MORE clearly in favor of my interpretation- you can
exceed racial adjusted limit for the usual cost, and go over the max for 1
point per level. Why would there NEED to be any limit besides magic
rating?
:P.S. Is there a mechanism by which one can send errata feedback to FASA?
Well, Rob Boyle is on this list, and he wrote the errata. I called
him at FASA to ask him about this one, but he was away from his desk. You
could send mail to FASA@***.com, with an appropriate subject (ATTN ROB if
you want an answer from him). Mike M is also very good about answering
mail (eventually), and can be reached at FASAMIKE@***.com .
