what kind of toxic shaman, or area can PC's laugh at?

I nearly got geeked by a toxic about a month ago, and
my character is nearly a god.

I'm curious if anyone has had a similar experience:

This bad guy was modeled after the Jamaican drug
dealing twins in that Steven Segal movie, 'Marked
for Death.' DRUGS as a type of toxic!

Our group got hired to geek a drug dealer. No Sweat.
Easy money. We'll take it. POW!!!

Regroup. What happened!?! You got our a**es handed
to us by some heap big mojo you idiot Sammie.
I can still kill you. no you won't; you're not getting
paid to kill me. Ok back on track. Hey what is
happening to the Sam? He's addicted to the toxics
that shaman is putting out! Whoa! FRYYYY! Sorry
Sam, you got in my way. Hey my head is spinning
wow pretty lights hi nice man can you do that again?
what? kill steeler and I can have that? Ok Steeler
zaps me to my senses and I take the toxic to the
the Sixth World and do henious damage
while our decker and steeler finish off the shaman's
goons and kill his body! Toxic goes berserk cause he
knows he's dead, and disappears.

we find him a week later in the body of a cute female
nurse in a hospital, getting patients addicted to her(his)
drugs.

Anyway, I never laugh at Toxics. Especially drugs as toxics...

Don't get any ideas. this ideas is too evil to put any runners
through. Stay away. You have been warned.

Mostly they tend to laugh at the _original_stats for the ones at
the back of the NAN adventures, they were pretty tame, especially
without the added Reflexes locks, and Barrier spells I had to add
to them.

Evil Idea? Nawww, just about right for my PC's they'll love it,
just the thing to get them ready for the next EVil thing I intend
to do to them.

Yah, we got a good look at toxics when they first came out
and thought that the most pertinent things about them were
they tended to be perversions of natural things, they tended
to be vile and infestive, and they tend to corrupt natural
things to suit their purposes.

Drugs was one of the conclusions we came to that WEG didn't.

It kicked our butts, and we've been really careful ever since.

Keith

PS another toxic shaman we thought of was cyberware, but
those guys are already too ingrained to be able to stamp 'em
out. Heck even some of our crew is infested... yuck.

Wow, teach me not to leave my mail for 48 hours; Toxic shamans of
the cyberware toitem (?). Really nasty, what sort of powers did
your GM give 'em?

Do you have an other really nasty idea's for toxics, apart from the
obvious toxic HORROR shaman type, up from Aztlan looking for new
and _interesting_ sacrificial victims?

Who's WEG?

We didn't. We were just looking at _what_ a toxic shaman was
supposed to be...

a corruption of nature...

and because we are a highly magick oriented group,
we used this as an opportunity to rip on the 2 samurai
that we have in the group.

We told them that cyberware was a type of toxin of the soul.
It is an arguable point. You lose essence. It's almost
impossible to heal Naturally.

And since this was just after we got our butts kicked
by a toxic, they almost believed us! What idiots.

Go back and look at the description of a toxic shaman with
cyberware in mind... I dare you, chummer.

Politicians, Televangelists, Rock Stars...Ooh Teachers!
Basically any type of person who can be corrupted by
their lifestyle can be turned into a Toxic Shaman.

Oh, I forgot to mention that you also need to have a really
black sense of humor. The more sick you can think the more
you can think like a toxic.

As far as what WEG is. Well, that's just me being on too
many mail lists and getting too much mail to keep track
of all of it. I was responding to 2 separate posts and
didn't keep them straight. Sorry.

I was playing with an idea for an adventure once but didn't use it: a toxic
insect shaman... I couldn't agree with myself on what he could do exactly
(what _does_ a toxic Wasp spirit look like? :), so I turned him into a
normal insect shaman.
