Ok maybe I`m dumb but I dont get it
1.
It changed to Ballistic and Impact that means + ?
tne last line of first paragraph should read "would lose two! die .."
instead of one ?
2. in the example of twitch he has a armor of 9+7 = 16
a quickness off 6 - 6

3. what happens with odd surplus ?
say he has an quickness of 5 so should he still lose 5 dice or should he
lose 6 ?

4. thats not dumb (I hope) thats just a new rule
why not average strenght and quickness. Me never carring armour but
motorcycle equipment, just my 2cents.

Actually, the errata is correct. It is based on the totol of ballistic
armor and impact armor. Not the total of ballistic armor and impact armor
added together.

For example:

Armor Jacket 5/3
w/ Armor Vest 2/1

Total Armor (when layered) = 6/3
Quickness rating of character = 3
Total ballistic armor worn = 7
Total impact armor worn = 4
Total modifier to combat pool: -2 dice

If the character was wearing an armor vest (2/1), Secure Long coat (4/2),
and carried a large riot shield (2/3), he would lose 3 dice (8 ballistic
which is 4 points above quickness and 6 impact, which is 2 points above
quickness). Hope this helps.
