We do, but only apply a maximum of +1/+1 for each additional layer. We
have house rules that allow for dodging as well, and at the moment, they
currently favour no armour vs some armour (that's the way our ref likes
it).

Allowing layered armour also contributes to an escalating arms race-- enter
the PAC.
