]to expand the SR universe beyond Seattle. I keep hoping he'l start buying
]them, and eventually work up to a Confederacy sourcebook.
Hm... a possibility, but a slim one. If you could perhaps set them together to
be a Campaign sourcebook (ala Harlequin), it might work. However, when I
talked to Tom about the possibility of a Neo-Anarchists Guide to North America
Vol.2, he said that there would have to be enough "interesting" cities in
there, cities that show things that others didn't. Considering that they
passed up New Orleans (the example of a good city for NAGNA2, btw), and the
fact that LA is on hold indefinitely (hmmm... anyone want to try to find out
who wrote it, and maybe find a way to get a copy?), I don't think they are
going to expand out of Seattle anytime soon.
As for different cities: 2 ways to do it.
1) Go along with the poster last week that wanted to build a net.city.
it looked interesting, and what better way to get out of WA?
2) MAKE YOUR OWN! Our group was "re-located" to Houston, Texas, based
off of what our GM knew about Houston (she grew up there). She worked out full
maps, where the arcologies would be, etc! If I can ever convince her to do
the write-up, I'll probably post it here. (or maybe not... some of our groups'
ideas have been flamed EXCESSIVELY. We could just send it to FASA instead...
and we know of a way to get it published [you do too, if you think of the
different modules and sourcebooks])
P.S. Jurassic Thread: If you want those incredible Dragons to be in the SR
movie, you'd best hurry. I've heard rumors that ILM is no longer accepting new
projects, in preparation for The Clone Conflict (Star Wars I).
