Subject: Legal code of the CAS/UCAS?
Date: Mon Dec 24 07:45:01 2001
I've come to a realization as I've started pulling together meterial for my

Lone Star campaign. Nowhere in any of the material I own is there any sort
of information about what the law is actually -like-.

Sure, there's the ubiquitious Local Fines and Punishment table -- I know
how much a shadowrunner might get fined for using Wired Reflexes in the
commission of a crime. But I have no idea how much jail time he might
expect to get for the crime itself, whether it be B&E, accessory to murder,
or public lewdness.

So:

Is there any information on the UCAS/CAS legal code in any Shadowrun book?
If so, which one?

Is there any information on a legal system in any -non-Shadowrun gaming
book
that can be cribbed reasonably quickly and easily? Or am I stuck sitting
down and updating the Louisiana Penal Code for 2060, a prospect which
thrills me not in the least?

Thanks in advance,
--number 10.

Yes, Shadowtech. This uses the same sort of system as in SR3 (which is only
the la[te]st version of the fine/punishment table) but also for most other
common crimes, from petty theft to murder 1. Luckily, the table is much
easier because there's no Possession/Transport/etc. categories.
