Mornin' everyone....

"Shadowrun and Matrix are Registered trademark of FASA Corporation...yedda
yedda yedda..."

We all have this just after the credits, in the first few pages of our
Shadowrun rulebooks. For now, it meant practically nothing.

But now? "The Matrix", starring Keanu Reeves and Laurence Fishburne. Looks
damn awesome, read a review from a guy who went to a pre-screening, said the
scenario was paper-thin, but the action and effects more than compensated.
"Style over substance". (He also pointed out that the whole movie looked a
lot better than Dark City, and that's a thumbs up for me).

Anyways... Does anyone know if FASA had any talk with these people? I
mean, the premise looks alot like the Remy story in the back of VR1.0, it's
heavily cyberpunkish, and I'm sure when we all go see it, we'll all go "Hey,
I know that shit". And since the "Matrix" is registered to FASA... well...

It's one movie that I'm *really* interested in seeing. Admittedly,
more for the effects and visual concepts than the script, but...

The first thought than ran through my mind as I watched the commercial
was "Cool...", followed closely by "Hey - didn't FASA tm that?"
I haven't bothered to remind them or anything, and it may not have any
relevance, but I too wonder if FASA's aware of this...

Yeah, I was thinking that too, but I'd think FASA would notice when
commercials started airing and such. Perhaps they already okayed it
anyways, who knows...

All I know, is that I'm going to go see it on the 31st
