I know I've been a hermit since the day the earth began but I will
be venturing out for the drunken debauchery that is Dragoncon (or at
least it is for my friends). I doubt I will be playing in any games but I
will be bullshitting around (go figure). Shame that is the only
convention I'll be attending not counting the local comic convention
(HeroesCon).

Anyway, back to lurking.

Ancient cultures believed that names held great power, personal names
more so and they were guarded very closely. To protect themselves, they
answered to another name, because if another discovered their real name,
it could be used against them.
History repeats itself.

I will be doing no such thing! :]

Definitely a shame. Looks like Origins and GC is it for me this
year. Dragoncon is definitely one of those I'd love to make, but falls
victim to the evil plot of making every con I want to attend take place
between June and August. I could likely go to a convention every weekend
during those three months and STILL miss a few...

DragonCon is the one and only convention I attend every year, and I
love its drunken debauchery. :-)

If you want to meet for a beer or something, let me know. The first
one's on me.
