I did some thinking about the Hemo-Electric Dam that Keith and I dreamed up
over two weeks ago ... and I came up with some ideas on it ...
Any piece of cyberware that is implanted that does not involve replacing a
limb has some form of the Hemo-Electric Dam in place already, or something
already similar to begin with.
For limb replacements (fore-limb and total limb replacements) are stated as
either having to need some form of recharging at some point in time during a
day to be able to function normally. If a Hemo-Electric Dam is put into a
limb, it powers the limb only and does not assist anywhere else. These dams
will only provide enough power so that the limb can function as per the
systems and modifications it already has and will not provide an additional
flux points or the like. We can also say that a Hemo-Electric Dam implanted
into a limb costs only half as much in terms of the essense cost.
A Heme-Electric Dam (HED) that is put into someone for the purposes of
creating a flux point reserve for any ranged communications or the like, has
to deal with the following ...
1. The maximum number of HED's that a person can have implanted for this
purpose is equal to Half their Body attribute, round down. Each level of the
HED gives the person one Flux point.
2. Adrenal Pump will give the person an additional number of Flux points
equal to it's level for the duration that the pump is in effect.
3. Suprathyroid Gland adds it's level in the number of Flux points
available at all times.
4. Platelet Factory reduces the number of Flux Points available equal to
it's level.
5. If the person is struck by some sort of blood thinner or clotter,
reduce the amount of generated Flux points by Half the effective rating of the
Thinner / Clotter.
6. The maximum number of Flux Points that a person can generate is equal
to their Body attribute.
