Yep.

Its a lousy heavy pistol that fires 3-round bursts only. 12 rounds (so
only 4 bursts), and an integral laser sight or smartlink. It's in the Lone
Star sourcebook, where they say it's got a ROF of 1500 rounds per
second... reality check, anyone?

It depends what you mean... it's got a rate of 1500 rounds/second for 3
round bursts. That's why it gets so little recoil. Add in a 4th, and it
doesn't. :)

What do you mean a lousy pistol... 3 of my seven players in my group have
the ruger thunderbolt.... it fires the first burst with out any recoil and
does 12S damage... and with seven people a person hardly ever uses up that
clip in one combat sequence...

It's lousy 'cause it's got no ammo capacity worth mentioning... It's good
for intimidation, and as a back-up weapon, but there's no way I'd want it
as my primary gun.

4 shots is NOT much.

Well, the H&K G11 manages over 2,000rpm for its burst, and most (single
barreled) aircraft cannon can do 1500-1800 at high rate. Perhaps they
made a typo? :) Or maybe it's one of these "Metalstorm" ultra-fast guns.

It must have been either a typo or someone who doesn't know the first
thing about common sense :) 90,000 rpm is a bit much, if you ask me...

Metalstorm tops 100,000, but only for a very short time: multiple-loaded
barrels fired in parallel, intended as an anti-missile defence for AFVs
in one article I saw. That's just me being pedantic, though, there'd be
no point doing this for small-arms :)
