Thought I'd pass this on, here's Jill Lucas' (Fasa Marketing) reply
when I wrote her on the release of the limited run SRCCG promo cards.

And is anyone willing to pick up extra promo cards for those of us
without access to all these magazines?

I'm willing to pay whatever the magazines cost you, plus the cost of
posting the cards to me. It's just that we get such magazines late (and
Scrye is the only one that arrives with any kind of regularity), plus
all the stores round here have Scrye etc sealed in plastic bags, so
unless the card is on the front cover you can't even tell which one
you're getting - and I don't really want to buy three copies of Scrye
(not with its price in Australia) and wind up with three copies of one
card.

Anyone willing to help out?

Since I run a retail store, I will see what I can do to help out. I'll see if
I can persuade some customers to give up their promos.

Ok, I'll second Jestyr desires, living in Italy can be hell for these kind
of things :) That way it should be easier to pick two set of unique (4)
cards...

The above can easily be read as

Just a couple notes about the few promo cards I have so far... :]

NERPS (which was given away at Gen Con only)

Great card. It let's you copy any normal Gear type card (Like Weapons,
Cyber, or spells:)). A must for any deck... Of course, they're hard to
get, and sadly, I no longer have any extras... I'm keeping my 2 signed
ones for my decks, and Tinner and Lady J have dibs on my others...:]

MAGLOCK PASSKEY

Both Loki and Tinner have been on the recieving end Maglocks, one of the
best Challenges in the game. The way it works is that you chosse a number
on a d6 and hide the die. Then your opponent has to guess that number, and
gets bonus guessing for having Technical Skills... If he doesn;t, he can't
get past...

Maglock Passkey lets you sleaze that.... A great gear card...:]

ADAM BOMB

I like this card, and yet I don;t. It's too dangerous... You can get a
LOT of Nuyen through it, but it will take out (usually) half your runners
when Adam goes Boom! :]

FUCHI

Oh my god is this a great card! I found managed to pull off a great combo
with it tonight... Fuchi gives you the possibility of gaining extra nuyen,
or even reputation points, but you have to get a REALLY high number. You
roll a d6 and add your decking skill... 0-6 is nothing, 7-9 is 2 Nuyen,
10-12 4 Nuyen, and 13+ is 5 Nuyen or 5 Rep points...

Wiz Kid Decker (a 0/1 1 Nuyen decker with 3 points of decking) + A
Fairlight Excalibur (+3 decking) means that you have a base roll of 7...
Minimum of 2 extra Nuyen a round, and a 50/50 chance of 4... Very nice
(BTW Tinner, we played that wrong... Sorry...:))

FLATLINE

I have him, but really haven't gotten to use him yet, and I don;t have many
Pistols, as his special is that he can hold wield 2 pistols at once... SO
no comment yet...:]

The rest I have only seen, sort of, so no idea yet...

BTW: Loki, where Lord Torgo on this list? Are you sure it's Adam Bomb in
the Scrye and not Torgo? I thought Adam and Nerps were GC only cards?

Or is Torgo in the regular set?

Lord Torgo is a Troll Prime Runner. He's one of the rare cards but is
available in the regular set. His special ability is to turn and pay X
amount of Nu Yen to trash a number of elves in paly equal to that
amount of Nu Yen. (BTW I have one signed by Skuzzy who's also the
artist for the card, and I just got my second one. :o)

Adam Bomb will be one of the promo's available in the next issue of
Scrye. However, Nerps looks like it will remain an Gen Con only
release.

I picked up Nerps! and Adam Bomb when they were given out at Gen Con.

I met Mike "Skuzzy" Nielsen, SRTCG creator, at GC. During a 3-way demo
at GC he put out at purse of Hatchetman 2057 and the Maglock Passkey.
I won H-man 2057. He then also gave me Fuchi, Flatline, Lord Torgo and
later Skwaaaaark!

Skuzzy was cool enough to give me a couple of extras when I thought
someone had stolen the promos as I was getting cards signed. I later
found them and in turn OK'd hooking Caric up with a Fuchi, Bull with
Flatline, and Dvixen with Torgo.

Just another real life example of how contacts work. :o)
