Wow $80... Shit I thought that it was only us
Australians that got shafted with prices.

Hey, it's not that bad - assuming you're willing to pay $28-$40 per
sourcebook/adventure, regardless of how many they have in stock.

It can be less if you're a long-term valued customer. The games shop I've
been buying Shadowrun (and originally AD&D) products from for the last
twelve years gives me a flat %15 discount on anything I buy there now.
(Maybe because of the nagging I've given the owner every time I see the
Australian price of a new American game accessory :)

Canberra, Australia change were stopped.

Lucky me, I get 25%.;)

I guess it's partly because I actually drive away from Toronto to a city
about 90 minutes away (we Canadians always seem to messure distance in
time-- wonder if the very North UCAS do too?) just because I like the staff
at my store. I pick up my regular Cerebus the Aardvark, Battle Chasers, and
maybe some gaming stuff. Staff there are really nice folks who love comics
but still know how to run a buissness. They have only one response to the
idea that the comics and "hobby" industry will collapse any second now, the
same one one of my heroes, James hudnell will give. The same thing I say to
naysayers who say "you know this won't be here next year, right?"

My response is "NAY!"
