Say this reminds me of a question that's been bugging me. What is the
difference between the Elite Officers (in New Seattle) and the FRT and SWAT
folks?

And if there is a difference, then what specifically do the Elite Officers
do??

No difference. The "Elite Officers" are there to be used to represent
SWAT, FRT or other "cyber-cops". It's just a generic set of stats you
plug in where needed. You're putting your runners up against an FRT
Team? Then you need a group of "Elite Officers" with a combat mage in
support. You're putting them up against a pack of grunts? Then you need
the foot cops, with one "Elite Officer" as the Lieutenant in charge of
the situation. SWAT? Bunch of "Elite Officers", with different skills
and equipment as per their roles (snipers get sniper rifles, spotters
and assaulters get assault rifles or SMGs, etc. etc.).

If you want to go into more detail, it's up to you. If you feel
comfortable using the same set of stats over and over, though, that's
what the "Elite Officers" are for.

*Doc' wonders why "Elite" in corpspeak always translates into
"cannon-fodder" on the streets...*
