Subject: Long Range Spells and Fibre Optics

I thought about including the THWAP but I just couldn't be asked in the end.

What is everyone forgetting here.

1) LOS, long range spells: Spells work on how much aura of the target you
can attune yourself with. This is why partial cover and visibilty mods apply
to spells. This is also why the TN for range increases dramatically. Through
binoculars, well thats different as far as vision is concerned, but I still
think that range should count for something.

2) Fibre optics. Using fibre optics has got to be the sillest idea I've yet
heard of. Does no-one remember their Grimoire both 1 and 2. There is a quote
in there saying that young bucks often wonder why their spells backfire on them
when they try to cast a spell on a target looking through a pin hole. No
explanation given, admittedly, but the conclusion seems to be clear, don't mess
about with nature's forces unless you know exactly what you're doing.
