Hi all,

I'm looking for some nice (eventually evil ;) ) ideas for a campain
in Japan. I'm using the Japan Sources of FatRat so you don't have to
give me the URL.

The basic idea is that the PC (all Metas) have to fly to Osaka, where
they should meet a contact person. During the meeting with him the
JIS Police arrest them and send them to Yomi as criminal metahuman.

Do you have any suggestions for the plot :?)

oke try monks

Monks ? yes monks the shaven head and wearing orange bed
cloth men
I think there wil be an huge group of ppl that wil join an monk group.
Non of the carate/martial arts stuf
just ppl who meditate and grow crops

And how is this fun/evil you ask?

They might have to join them to escape of the island or need
something from them

Think about it, the pc's shaven head and in an orange bed sheet
trying to meditate and anwser questions like : how manny stars
can you see?, how manny fish are there in the sea, why did you
polute your body with cyber/magic?
(i have heard of ppl that get the same quetion over and over agoin til
they get it right, that has take years to anwser)

ect ect ect, They have to realy think about these things if you end
the sesion in this place give them an question to consider when
they go home.


(i got an uncel who lives in japan as an monk, and is at the
moment in the usa to raise an temple there)

Yes this is something I looked for :) Thanx!

Cause I'd never thought of this by myselfe. But that's why I'm here -
to see new ways for SR.

It looks very funny. Especially the Night One - would he have to
shave the hole body?

As I know the player they won't think very long - but perhaps such a
"extream" situation force them to :)

hmmm as i know it its only the head but since he is totaly coverd
with hear.... just think something up your the (Evil)Gm

hehehe these ppl have all the time in the world, if they don't get the
anwser right ...wel make them do an 48 hour meditation session
You go to sleep when meditating (this happens fast if someone is
not use to it) you get hit hard with an bamboe stick very painful to
keep you awake.

but here is more :

that island has only meta's right ..
wel how about the yakuza, the rings, mafia, the traids
this isalnd is not to big they are ether fighting to the dead or
working togetter but what party should the pc's choise?

Or they got an way to escape but the "bos" of the island finds out
and wants to take there place...
or that they take an son or doghter with them
good way to make an contact out of him/her

Suprice them by giving not men but an wona(s) the controll over the
island
this is an good trick bcose they think that if they are realy nice and
polite they got an better chance to escape...
But the woman(s) just want to be treated the same as the men..

Oke since my head feels like its going to explode....
i'll leave the rest up to you but i might think up some more nice
things for you to trow at your players..

I thought of three yakuza families fighting eatch other too.

They'll escape - after one family won a major battle and the oyabun
thank them their services by taking them with him.

But bevor they come to the family they'll meet the monks. This idea
is so evil that I have to use it.

If they choose the "right" family, they'll propably meet a lady :)

Yes it's funny to GM, but only if you can play atleast one run after
9 gming ;)
