Yes, per the rules in Cybertechnology. However, my players now tend to
avoid characters with a very low Essence.

The cops hassle the players even without visible cyberware, but then
Brand and Chet have developed a long and tangled history with the law
enforcement powers that be.

However, in answer to your question. Yes, visible (offensive)
cyberware and weaponry will attract unwanted attention from Lone Star
and such.

It would depend on the establishment, but I could see it happening.
Heck it happens to those of "undesirable" races...

Yup, per the rules in the original Harlequin campaign or NAGRL. Gotta
love them taser or explosive restraints. ;o)

Yup, all the time. Or at least when it's a PC that took the damage.

Oh how my group has felt the brunt of this one...

Check out the microwave pulse weapon in Plastic Warriors' Running
Gear. Don't have it here at work, but I think it's called a maser or
such.

There's also electrical projection from critters, or lightening
elemental effect for spells. These zap cyberware quite nicely. Also,
corrosive secretions or saliva for those external bits. Still, better
yet check out the Soul Jar spell (on my page) for low essence
characters, there's a nightmare waiting to happen. EGMG

If in your adventures you happen across the skull of a dragon, turn
and leave that place quickly. Whatever killed the dragon may still be
around.
