I am running a campaign that is starting out at very low power so that we
can sort of grow into the rules. To facilitate this I restricted the
character creation process quite a bit.

Details of my campaign are at:

The character creation specifically is:

I am wondering if anyone else has run a campaign like this and what kind of
experiences they have had. I'm also looking for any really good ganger
adventure ideas although those might be better offline since I don't know if
my players check out the list.

What I really want to do is create a feel of what is like to be a loser of
the lowest level in a gang. In the first adventure, they got jumped into
the gang by getting beat up (intro to melee combat). Then they broke into a
warehouse to help the gang boss get revenge on someone who had been stealing
from him.

Eventually, they will get to have street fights with other gangs, interact
with shadowrunners (mostly as hired muscle) and generally fight to make some
Nuyen while protecting their neighborhood. I'm trying to brainstorm some
fun things that might happen in the Barrens that would help set the mood or
provide spontaneous encounters.

Your input is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Uriah
