If you want to modify rules, more power to you. But in this case I see a
potentially huge problem. The problem being unlimited range, i.e. I call
Frederick in Germany from Nebraska and blow him into little pieces/turn him
into slime, through a video link. I'd quit answering my phone.

I'd seriously reconsider this one.
