All of the posts regarding physics are nice, but magic is
MAGIC, and physical laws don't always apply. Certainly, the laws of light
(Sounds like a Ral Partha term) apply to the Shape Change to Light spell, but
other things (like losing energy over time, and the fact that Doom's
explanation doesn't work mathematically are nigh irrelevant.

I admit, however, I like the idea of losing .1 (or some number) Body per
klick traveled. I wonder if Jenny Craig has heard about this?
