IIRC the original Combat Mage Archrtype (Sprawl Sites????) had Boosted
'flexes Rating 1 and Cyber eyes. His Magic Rating was 5 but hell he had a
Rating 1 or 2 Power Focus. I see this as a good compromise between the need
for speed and the need for spellcasting power.

You might be thinking of the Burned Out Mage, who originally appeared in
Sprawl Sites and is to be found currently in the GM's Screen Contacts
book. He had Wired 2 (I think) and a bunch of other cyberware.
