Hiya,

Just a quick note to let you know that the deadline for
the Magespace Short Story Contest is coming up fast.
We've received some great entries so far, but we want
MORE! :)

Here's your chance to win your very own, brand new,
1-of-1,000 BABY (#297) and all you have to do is send
in a good (new) Shadowrun story.

hmpf! I won't be able to make it. I have to work real hard on my
Master's degree final report, due in the first days of November. I won't
have a life 'til then, and maybe not even after(stress can do bad things to
you).

It's sad, I had a very good premise (IMNSHO), and more than the third of
the story written in 1st draft. Anyway, Lisa Smedman's Psychotrope used
some of the same ideas, so people would think I stole them from that work.

Anyway, I had to get this outta my mind... Rat's post acted as a
catalyst! :-)

Haven't decided yet. Right now, I'm leaning toward "probably." We'll
see how many we get.
