Has anybody ever run any UV hostsas a PC or GM? I suppose you'd
have to be a Nova Hot decker. Once there, things are.... wierd. It
says your deck is your body and gear, but you use your REAL skills (or
half computer). Depending on the nature of the host, magic MIGHT be
possible. It would just be the host MODELING your ability, but it would
be just as real as a metaplaner quest (which also sometimes alter the
use of magic and other skills...)
I see this very like Neuromancers "flatline" expieriences. And
undoubtedly and AI is involved. That bieng so, the magic MIGHT be real.
Thats an example of not just believing the illusion, but it believing
you as well....
But of course, Ultrviolet systems are "just a roumour"- like the
otaku.
