Guys....

I hate doing this every time, because as an occultist, and a mage-player in
Shadowrun, discusions of magic interest me. (Note no use of infamous "k")
TAKE THIS THREAD TO PRIVATE E-MAIL!
As it has been said countless times by myself and others, the
discussion/debate/flame over magick is old, often irrelavent, and even
offensive to some subscribers to this list.
Let's stop this thread and get back to Shadowrun, please?
And don't give me another set of idiotic "I can say whatever I want" flames.
This is a topice which flares up about every two months or so, and when it gets
into religio-philosophical debates about science, nature and whatever else...
WE ARE NO LONGER DISCUSSING SHADOWRUN.

It seems that all I ever post anymore is these...
Maybe it should be included in the FAQ... <smirk>
I'll save this message for use next month with the next bunch who ignore
"nettiquette" ;-)

Just My Two Pence.
The Kumquat.

THANK YOU!!!! I am getting so damn sick of this freakin' thread that I
feel like I wann hurl all over my keyboard in this lab filled with about
40 people. Please do not make me embarasse myself...

Only every two months?!? For crying out loud, it seems like someone,
either a fanatical magician or a fanatical scientist, tries to prove
their point every 2 WEEKS OR SO!!! Now, I'm very grounded in science and
my version of reality (which I of course think is 100% correct), but
you don't see me telling anyone else what is real or not (at least not
anymore), now do you?? I'm sorry, maybe I should have waited a while
before posting this, but this thread is pissing me off...yet again. So
can we keep ourselves within the realm of shadowrun, at least until I
have to leave for Xmas and lose most of my net access? If you all want
to have another magic debate over Xmas and New Years, be my guest. Just
make sure it's done by the time I get back to school.

BTW, my personal thanks to those who have already stated this sentiment,
either now or in the past. You know who you are. And a thousand THWAPS
with dikoted/explosive/AP gelatinous carps upon your annoying and
deserving heads to those who keep bringing this damn thread back up. You
also know who you are.

Yup, it should be. I'll add it within the next week or so.

NO! DOn't you UNDERSTAND? I am Magius Supremus Pizzus! I have more
magicK in my little pinky finger than all the shiny skin space on Patrick
Stewart's and Telly Savales' head COMBINED! I conquer you puny world!
All non-believers will have their brains turned into guacamole! You will
run in terror as I walk the streets of your town, pulling my shirt over
my head and casting the dreaded "You Will Give Me TP!" spell, causing the
willpower of all who view me to be drained from their bodies and they
become my mindless slaves! I'll start with YOU, my dear Kumquat! I'll
cast the new, but dreaded, spell "Chia!", and you will grow fiberous
strands of green vegetable matter out of your body! Such is the fate of
ALL who stand in my way!

Well, okay, maybe not, but....

I'm in total concurrance with Sir Kumquat and I agree this discussion be
moved/tabled. I'm a Catholic (not-practicing magician but Sunday
Catholic) and a chemist (4.5 years and still convinced reaction rates are
based off electronic interaction) and I really don't give two sh*ts about
Ponce de Leon and his quest for the Fountain of Youth and what it has to
do with Leonization.

But in answer to mon ami Erik's post about leonization:

I think the penalty of 2.8 million (and that's for the SINful) is enough
for a leonization process. Hell, if it gives me an extra 60 years,
great. By then they'll have worked out the flaws!

Here Here, Cornholio!

I am not a practicing Catholic, but I am an extremely devout believer
in something called "reality". Methinks some people play too many
role playing games. Time to go back down to the sewers, eh?

Enough already! So we don't want to have these magic(k) debates
anymore. Fine, stop commenting about it. Move on. After two or three
days of discussion over not having and why we shouldn't just drop the
whole thing.
