Can anyone give me references to rules covering the casting of spells
on the astral plane _at_ things on the astral plane? In particular,
do such spells have the effect they'd have on the physical plane, if they
manage to defeat the target in astral combat?

Being able to do this would mean you could bypass the fundamental qualities of
astral space - that emotions are `real' and that `truth' is more apparent.
E.g. you could cast illusions on your spirit (and on your spells), Mask them,
turn things invisible, armour your spell locks, cast Increase Reaction,
Charisma, etc. (and Quicken them), and so forth.

My personal opinion is that it shouldn't work like that: that spells on the
astral plane are like single-minded living things, and have their `magical'
effect only when they interact with the physical world.
