Tech is still improving exponentially in SR, afaik. There's not so many
rules reflecting it, but it seems a firm part of the background. Even with
the mana level rising, magic does not really seem to be becoming so much
more powerful, as it is becoming more common and having a wider variety of
manifestations. Hell, the 6th age kicked off with magic induced volcano
eruptions and the awkenings of the earths most powerful great dragons- how
much more powerful can magic get? Magic might come to fill / integrate with
some rolls now played by technology, but I don't think its inherenly more
powerful. If anything, I think tech has the edge there, and I think Lofwyr
would agree- how much moeny has he spent on tech? Why, if its gonna be
obsoleted by magic he already knows how to use?
