Magical edges in general affect magical staus not at all (and are
generally worthless to mundanes- what would a mundane do with Bonus
Force Points?). Magical Talents, listed onthe magical talent table, but
described under the magical talent edge, can only be purchased by
characters who have a magic rating.
Magic resistance, OTOH, is available only to mundanes.
"Bad karma" can be taken by anybody <heh>.
> There seems to be some question as to whether or not an "Edge User" can
make real usage of a Power/Spirit Foci in any sense. IMO, I would say they can, but the
cost for bonding would be increased somewhat (modify the >multiplier by an additional
point for example).
Sice all users of spellcasting talents are otherwise magically active,
they may be able to use some foci. However, the types most likely to
take this edge generally can't use spell related foci. The book does
not explicitely forbid people from getting and bonding foci they can't
normally use, though- it just says they won't be much use. I'd let them
get anythey think will help, but remeber, not all adepts get a magic
pool, even if they have sorcery, so foci that add to pool may not help
any.
