Well.... What are some good mailers out there that are free, halfway small,
and compatible with Windows 3.1? I'm using Eudora 1.66 now, and I like it,
but I'd like to find something with a flitering program...

Oh, sorry this is off SR, but I'm kinda looking for a new mailer...

Does anyone know if Elm or Pine has been compiled for our windoze using
friends out there????

(I know elm is mainly UNIX/LINUX based, but it's written in 'C', or should
be, so it should be portable....)

I'm using Pine even as we speak. I don't know, but I could certainly check
it out.

I tried one of the Pine ports a couple months back, I believe it was at
www.windows95.com. The problem was, I think it was trying to create files
at my ISP for my mailboxes..don't know exactly why, but anyways, it didn't
work near as well as I expected.

Look for Pegasus, the latest versions are released for both Win3.1 and
Win95, so be sure to download the right one (I wanted a 32 bit version but
got the two mixed up and downloaded the 16 bit one at first :/ ).

You can also upgrade your Eudora. I'm using 2.2 and I have 15 filters
(including this one).

Is it for Win 3.x, and can you supply an addy for it, by any chance?

The best upgrade for Eudora with Win 3.x that I've been able to find is 1.55
(I think).
