Ok, does anyone know how to filter with the PINE mail program?
The sysadmins on this system are clueless about how to do it.

The way the ELM filter or Procmail will work is that they'll do
the filtering as soon as the mail shows up -- neither one cares which
program you end up using to actually _read_ the mail.
If you need more help, contact me privately, and I can either pass
along my limited knowledge or point you towards others who might be able
to help more.
