I have never had a problem with any of my males PC's
roleplaying a female. Yes, usally, they do view their female
character as an incredibly attractive woman. But, if anything, they
tend to play a more heroic character. (some shadowrunners can be
heroic)

The problem comes in the other male PC's of the party.

They are always trying to get the female character (sorry for
bluntness) laid. They run around and treat the female character as
though she were a prostitute. Sometimes they even try hitting on her
themselves.

It is actually kind of funny seeing a huge hairy male hit on an other
huge hairy male playing a female.Ahhh, roleplaying.

The female character is always offended and tends to get rough with
the other characters - but this just leads to more scorning "oh , I
see you carry an Uzi III, let me show you a real gun...<snip obscene
gesture>
