Hey all,

Just FYI that there's a new Man and Machine errata available on
ShadowrunRPG.com. It has some pretty important changes to bioware and
magicians, so you probably want to check it out.

In regards to the new errata for M&M, does anyone have any idea on when
FanPro/WizKids will be doing the next printing of it and the Cannon
Companion? I noticed on the website that they had both of them slated for
reprints with the new errata changes, but no actual release date was given.

Wow. Those are some big changes. I'm glad they do clarify the whole
cyber/bio/magic deal, though. Why was the mnemonic enhancer changed?

Man and Machine is at press now, but FanPro is using a new printer and my
understanding is there have been some delays before the actual printing.
Cannon Companion will come sometime later; no idea when, really.

So it seems Bioware's effects have been simplified -- taking away
Magic directly -- rather than making it more difficult to use a higher
Magic rating. And having it apply in a cumulative fashion with the
essence loss from Cyberware prior to rounding down makes it a lot
easier to have a magician with a little Cyberware and a little Bioware
minimize the Magic loss. :-)

I bet the mnemonic enhancer was changed because taking away 3 points
of karma per skill was deemed to be too powerful (or it that called
munchkin). :-)
