Subject: Manifestation of Nature Spirits

Hoi chummers!

I've been reading the list for some time, but said very little (Nothing).
I'm on the hungarian SR list and a new topic there is the manifestation
power of nature spirits. In my SR book (I have got an english one, not the
hungarian) no manifestation power is listed in the critters section oif
the book for nature spirit. So nature spirits are not able to manifest?
The book sais that spirits are present astrally when conjured, and to use
their powers on others than the shaman they have to manifest. Insect and
toxic spirits in the Grimoire do have the Manifestation power. What does
this mean?

1. The manifestation power was left from the Sourcebook and Nature spirits
can manifest. (My opinion, 'cause shaman were weaker than hermetics
without this)

2. The book is correct and spirits can affect shaman only.

3. Nature spirits can manifest but do not get the special special benefits
from manifesting i.e. immunity to normal weapons.
This makes the shamans and hermetic mages of equal power because elementals
take a long time to be summoned and cost a lot of money (conjuring
materials and conjuring library).

IMHO nature spirits can manifest, even though that power isn't listed.
After all, lots of adventures, sourcebooks, novels, and rulebooks have
manifested nature spirits.
