Foci do not need to be hand crafted. All they need to be is
enchanted. Street Magicians (especially Street Shamans) use enchanted
"manufactured" Foci all the time.

Remind me to leave the sourcebook open a bit longer next time. :)

However, it seems so far out of flavor with the rest of mage-dom that it
very nearly falls into munchkinland.

And it's *still* handy to have an Ally that looks like something
innocuous.
